Blair Witch video game gets a new trailer

July 29, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Bloober Team and Lionsgate Games have released a new trailer for the upcoming Blair Witch videogame showing off the eerie gameplay and cute canine companion, Bullet.  This trailer showcases some of the gameplay elements, including exploration, combat and environmental interaction.  Check out this trailer below…

Inspired by the well known film of the same name, Blair Witch is a first person psychological horror game set in 1996 that places gamers in the role of a former police officer called Ellis.  When a young boy goes missing in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville in Maryland, Ellis joins the search but what starts as an ordinary missing child investigation soon turns into a nightmarish situation involving the mysterious entity that haunts the cursed woods.

As players journey deeper into the woods they will have to stand against the horrors of the entity and decide how they will have Ellis react to the dangers and pressures he encounters.

Inspired by the cinematic lore of Blair Witch, experience a new story-driven psychological horror game that studies your reactions to fear and stress.

Blair Witch arrives on Xbox One and PC on 30th August.
