Blazing Chrome launch trailer arrives before game’s release tomorrow

July 10, 2019 by Andrew Newton

With the release of side scrolling shoot-’em-up Blazing Chrome tomorrow on PC and consoles, publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Joymasher have released the game’s launch trailer showcasing the run and gun action with a very retro theme.  Enjoy the trailer below…

Blazing Chrome is a side scrolling shoot-’em-up that pays tribute to the genre’s finest titles.  Set in a world where humans are on the brink of extinction and robots dominate the surface, players will lead Marva, a resilient soldier and rebel robot Doyle through a variety of levels destroying the numerous enemies, including mechanised foes and big bosses.

In order to curb the AI army’s ruthless oppression, players will have access to a large arsenal of weapons, pilotable mechs and vehicles, there’s also unlockable characters to discover.

Blazing Chrome features:

  • Local Co-op Gameplay.
  • 16-bits post-apocalyptic environments.
  • Classic fast-paced run-and-gun experience.
  • Epic boss battles and crazy lot minibosses fights.
  • Genuine arcade feel.
  • Motorcycle and jetpack action.
  • Rad pixel art.

JoyMasher’s modern refinements to that satisfying shoot-em-up playstyle will make scrapping hordes of mechanized foes and skyscraper-sized bosses feel as comfortable as getting back on that hoverbike you haven’t rode in years.

Blazing Chrome will be available tomorrow on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
