Marvel’s Eternals concept art features the Celestials

July 22, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Having officially unveiled Eternals as part of its Phase Four slate as the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, Marvel Studios has debuted some concept next year’s franchise-launcher featuring the Celestials, the ancient cosmic entities responsible for the creation of the Eternals and their arch-enemies the Deviants. Check it out here…

Among oldest known beings in the Marvel universe, the Celestials have already popped up in the MCU; Guardians of the Galaxy featured a brief glimpse of Eson the Searcher courtesy of The Collector’s Infinity Stone explanation, while the location of Knowhere is the severed head of a deceased Celestial, and Star-Lord’s father Ego the Living Planet is also a member of the race.
