Vin Diesel reveals that Riddick 4: Furya script is complete

July 28, 2019 by Gary Collinson

It seems that Vin Diesel’s Richard B. Riddick could be heading back to the big screen in the not-too-distant future, with the actor revealing on Instagram that writer-director David Twohy has completed the script for the next instalment in the Chronicles of Riddick franchise, titled Riddick 4: Furya.

Twohy and Diesel first brought the antihero Riddick to the screen in the sci-fi action film Pitch Black back in 2000. The film was a surprise hit and quickly gained a cult following, leading to the big budget follow-up The Chronicles of Riddick in 2004. This disappointed at the box office but strong home video sales eventually led to another sequel, the more modestly budgeted Riddick, back in 2013.

Are you looking forward to the prospect of another entry in The Chronicles of Riddick? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or on social media @FlickeringMyth…
