September 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

D3 Go! and developer Infinity Plus 2 have announced that the next chapter in the award-winning Puzzle Quest series, Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on 19th September and is available to pre-purchase as of today.  This definitive Puzzle Quest experience will feature new quests, classes, spells and more.  Check out the new trailer below…

Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns is a strategic RPG that uses match-3 puzzle game mechanics to progress.  Players will explore the many locations within the kingdom of Etheria meeting a variety of characters and battling an assortment of opponents by matching three or more gems in a row to gain mana.

Players will be able to select from their favorite character classes or even try out one of the five new classes, which includes Blood Mage, Priest, Monk, Paladin and Elementalist.

Key features of Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns include:

  • More than 240 quests including 100 brand new quests with branching questlines set over an expanding story.
  • As well as the eight original character classes there’s also five brand new classes to master.
  • Improvements made based on player feedback including more lore, new items that bring new strategies and improved AI.

Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns is available to pre-purchase now on the Nintendo eShop and will release on the 19th September.
