Square Enix reveals Final Fantasy VII Remake European cover art and new screenshots

September 27, 2019 by Villordsutch

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is just over six months away, but that doesn’t stop those of us that have been waiting years for this to arrive from getting excited by the mere morsels which Square Enix Ltd are feeding us, to keep us ravenous for it’s final release.  In this case Square Enix Ltd have served up the European Art Packaging along with some new in-game screenshots and you can check these out below…

The package art, reminiscent of iconic artwork of the original Final Fantasy VII, features protagonist Cloud Strife with his iconic buster sword, staring down the headquarters of the shadowy enemy he has agreed to help take down.

Additionally, the latest screenshots (seen above) are bringing more of the Sector 7 Slums and the Seventh Heaven bar to life. Cloud, Tifa, Barrett and Aerith are also showcased in action-packed battles, providing an in-depth look at magic and summons, the materia system, powerful limit breaks, and more.

Along with this, a new gameplay video is now available and shows Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith going head to head with a ferocious beast, Abzu. The exhilarating fight highlighting each characters’ unique battle style can be seen below.
