Striker & Tamer Update now available for Black Desert on PS4

November 9, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Playstation 4 fans of Pearl Abyss’ Black Desert are now able to download the latest free update which adds the Striker and Tamer character classes to the game.  besides these new classes there is also a brand new world boss and a skill upgrade for those adventurers who are more experienced.  Check out the new trailer below….

With the new Striker & Tamer update, players will be able to take advantage of the skills and abilities of two new character classes – Striker and Tamer.  The Striker is a close-quarters combat expert and thanks to the countless years of gruelling training from a martial arts master is able to utilise devastating punches and sweeping kicks to overwhelm his opponents.  The Tamer comes from the beast filled island of Haemo where people learn to fight alongside their beast companions. With her loyal divine beast companion, Heilang, the Tamer will attack using a series of powerful AoE strikes.

Karanda, a new world boss arrives in the game-world to cause trouble with deadly harpies.  Those adventurers brave enough to tackle Karanda will face a foe with unparalleled speed and incredible strength, not to mention her fellow harpies.

Finally, adventurers who reach level 56 will be able to use a new skill which allows them to combine two skills together into a more powerful ability.

Black Desert is currently available within the PlayStation Double Discount event, which gives 25% off all three game bundles, while PS+ members will receive 50% off until 22nd November.
