American Horror Story renewed for 3 more seasons, Sarah Paulson to return in season 10

January 11, 2020 by Gary Collinson

During the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, AMC has announced that it has renewed its hit anthology series American Horror Story for a further three seasons, which – with the already announced tenth season included – will take the show through to at least 13 seasons in all.

Meanwhile, having sat out the most recent season, American Horror Story: 1984, Sarah Paulson has revealed that she will be making her return to the show in season 10, the actress stating that:

“I can confirm that I will be in next season. I have no idea what it will be… But I’m not coming back as a guest part, I will be a central character. I do know that I did ask Ryan, if the question was asked to me, could I say that I was coming back? And he said, ‘Yes, you can say.’ So yes, I will be back on American Horror Story.”

As yet there’s no word on a potential storyline for season 10 of American Horror Story, nor is there any casting news beyond the inclusion of Paulson. We will of course keep you updated as more news becomes available.
