Dwayne Johnson is head back to the small screen, with NBC announcing that it has given an 11-episode series order to Young Rock, a new single camera comedy exploring the early years of the future WWE Superstar and Hollywood star.

Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat) will serve as showrunner on Young Rock, and according to the press release, “Johnson will appear in each episode as the focus and inspiration of the series will be about his formative years.”
