New trailer for DOOM Eternal showcases a gory single player campaign

January 15, 2020 by Andrew Newton

DOOM Eternal has received a second action packed trailer that provides a glimpse of the upcoming game in all its gory glory.  Check out the trailer below..

The first half of the trailer has been dedicated to the game’s single player storyline that sees a time when the armies of Hell have invaded Earth.  Although I imagine most players will buy the game for the intense visceral action rather than a story, there does seem to be, amidst the gory setting of Hellish landscapes and dismembered body parts, there does appear to be the promises of a fairly decent storyline.

Give the trailer a closer look and you may just get a glimpse of the terrifying new Gladiator and updated Marauder enemies along with plenty of glorious, gory kills.  If that isn’t enough for you, look out for the devastating power of the Slayer’s new Crucible weapon.

Hell’s armies have invaded Earth. Become the Slayer in an epic single-player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions and stop the final destruction of humanity.  The only thing they fear… is you.

DOOM Eternal launches on 20th March.  Pre-order now to get a free digital download of DOOM 64, and the Rip and Tear Pack which includes DOOT Revenant Skin, Cultist Base Master Level and Throwback Shotgun Weapon Skin.
