Ewan McGregor is excited to put the cloak back on for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series

February 6, 2020 by Liam Waddington

One of the most highly anticipated Star Wars projects is the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series with Ewan McGregor reprising the role of the Jedi Master after 15 years away from the role.

Now, in a recent interview with Good Morning America, McGregor has further expressed his excitement to return to the Star Wars universe and hopes once he puts the cloak back on, he’ll be straight back in the role. Watch his interview here…

Earlier this year, it was announced production on the Obi-Wan series was pushed back from this summer to next year due to the studio wanting to focus on re-writing the script with McGregor himself stating this delay will only make the show better and calling reports of creative differences “bullshit”.

Are you looking forward to Ewan McGregor returning as Obi-Wan Kenobi for his Star Wars series? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @flickeringmyth…
