Katee Sackhoff would love to see Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian

April 14, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Star Wars: The Clone Wars actress Katee Sackhoff would love to see her character Bo-Katan appear in The Mandalorian.

With the introduction of the darksaber in The Mandalorian season 1 finale, many have been wondering if this could mean Bo-Katan will make an appearance. She was the last person we saw to have the darksaber before Moff Gideon took possession of the weapon. And as she is also a Mandalorian, it would make some sense to see her in future episodes.

Would Katee Sackhoff, the voice actress behind the character in The Clone Wars, like to see it happen? She shared her thoughts with DiscussingFilm:

“I mean, who wouldn’t! I grew up watching Star Wars. I grew up obsessed with Star Wars. Part of what I loved about playing Starbuck [in Battlestar Galactica] was that she reminded me of Han. I absolutely love that world and it’s part of the reason why I took The Clone Wars and wanted to play Bo to begin with. That being said, of course, there are people that are going to jump to conclusions that Bo is going to be in The Mandalorian because on paper, it does make sense. But you know, we’ll just have to wait and see and cross all my fingers and toes. You never know. Hopefully it goes for five seasons and every year I get another opportunity to do that potentially!”

We will have to wait and see if Bo makes a surprise appearance as Lucasfilm will likely want to keep this a secret.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to premiere in October 2020 and sees the returning Pedro Pascal (Din Djarin), Gina Carano (Cara Dune), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Bill Burr (Mayfield) along with Rosario Dawson (Daredevil) as Ahsoka Tano and Michael Biehn (The Terminator) as a bounty hunter.
