Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet wants to reprise Quake role for female-led Marvel team-up

June 8, 2020 by Gary Collinson

With her time on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. drawing to a close, actress Chloe Bennet has revealed that she would love the opportunity to suit up as Quake alongside the other female heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the potential female-fronted team-up movie that grabbed so many headlines a couple of years back.

“If they would have me, I would love to be part of that,” Bennet told Playboy. “She’s an Avenger in certain comic books, so I would absolutely love that. With the Marvel universe you can never say never. Look at Clark Gregg: He has died probably 800 million times as Coulson and comes back to life. I’ll always have room in my heart for playing Daisy. I’d be very excited if that opportunity came to me.”

The project in question was first mentioned in the build-up to Thor: Ragnarok, with a number of Marvel actresses including Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Pom Klementieff (Mantis) said to have cornered Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige to pitch him the idea of bringing together the MCU’s women A-Force style.

It’s unclear at this point whether Marvel has any plans to move forward with the concept, or whether Bennet’s Quake would even come in for consideration given that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a Marvel Television production – a division now under the control of Feige, and one that the movie side of Marvel has always kept at a distance.

Still, let us know in the comments or on our social channels if you’d like to see an all-female Marvel movie, and whether you think Bennet’s Daisy Johnson should be part of that…
