Luke Evans joins Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy in Nine Perfect Strangers

June 29, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Luke Evans (The Alienist, Beauty and the Beast) has signed on to star alongside Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies), Melissa McCarthy (The Kitchen) and Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) in Hulu’s upcoming limited series Nine Perfect Strangers.

Based on the bestselling novel by Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies), Nine Perfect Strangers is set in “a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.”
