Award-winning dark comedy musical Redemption of a Rogue gets a trailer

July 13, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Following on from its double success last night at the Galway Film Fleadh where it received the awards for Best Irish Film and Best Irish First Feature – Wildcard Distribution has unveiled a trailer for writer-director Philip Doherty’s acclaimed feature debut Redemption of a Rogue starring Aaron Monaghan (Maze, Assassin’s Creed). Watch the trailer for the dark comedy musical here…

Redemption of a Rogue follows Jimmy (Aaron Monaghan (Maze) on his road to redemption after returning to his hometown. Stuck in a Groundhog Day-like purgatory, Jimmy embarks on a sacrificial and outlandish journey to rid himself of his guilt and shame from the past, ultimately redeeming himself through love.

Redemption of a Rogue will release in UK and Irish cinemas later this year.
