Iron Harvest 1920+ Pre-Season announced, new gameplay trailer revealed

July 24, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Deep Silver and King Art Games have announced the upcoming Pre-Season for their RTS Iron Harvest 1920+.  Those interested in taking part can join the free open beta on the 30th July and will get the opportunity to earn in-game rewards and rankings.  There’s also the chance to qualify for the final round being hosted at the 2020 gamescom expo in Cologne, 27-30 August.  Also released today is a new gameplay trailer (see below) showing the three factions using their giant war machines in brutal combat.

Set shortly after the Great War in an alternate reality, Iron Harvest 1920+ tells the story of three factions and their protagonists in a world still struggling to recover after what was thought to be the war to end all wars.  Players will follow an intense story set over 20 missions in three campaigns and will have their tactical skills pushed to the limit as they take on the challenging AI alone or with a friend.

During the open beta (Pre-Season), the following content will be available:

  • Take a sneak peak at the exciting campaign missions.
  • Players can challenge each other in competitive multiplayer on 1v1, 2v2 or even one 3v3 map.
  • Organised multiplayer.
  • Skirmish and challenge maps that will allow players to take on the AI alone or with a friend.

Iron Harvest 1920+ Pre-Season starts on 30th July with the full game releasing on PC via Steam, GOG and the Epic Store on 1st September.  A console version is expected to arrive in early 2021.
