Robert Kirkman reveals his favourite episode of The Walking Dead

July 29, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead, has revealed his favourite ever episode.

While The Walking Dead is currently gearing up for the return of season 10, it’s fun to think back on how far the show has come over its long history.

Robert Kirkman, the creator of the comics, has played a big role in bringing the show to the screen and executive producing its spinoffs like Fear the Walking Dead.

But does Kirkman have a favourite episode from the show’s past? Well, speaking at a Q&A session as part of San Diego Comic-Con@Home, he highlighted episode 12 of season 3:

“My favorite episode of the show is probably still ‘Clear’. It brought back Lennie James’ Morgan, excellent Michonne character work done by Scott Gimple in that episode that really set the tone for Michonne’s character in the show moving forward, great Carl moments, great Rick moments, a really great episode.”

Season 3 feels like a lifetime ago at this point and with another spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, debuting later this year, the franchise isn’t going anywhere soon.

The season ten finale of The Walking Dead will air on AMC on October 4th.
