September 21, 2020 by EJ Moreno

Inspired by classic television of the past, the first look at Marvel’s WandaVision offers up an intriguing look at the show. Featuring scenes inspired by sitcoms like Roseanne and All In The Family, the series will take a look at the strangest couple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as they attempt to build a life together.

Eagle-eyed fans will notice a couple of interesting teases here, like seeing Teyonah Parris as the adult Monica Rambeau and Wanda Maximoff and Vision’s super-powered children. Check out the trailer below, along with the first poster and official synopsis…

Marvel Studios’ captivating new series WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

WandaVision features a cast that includes Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (Vision), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Randall Park (Agent Jimmy Woo),  Teyonah Parris (Empire) as an adult Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms) as a “nosy neighbour.”
