Andy Samberg to star in superhero stoner comedy Super High with Craig Robinson and Common

October 6, 2020 by Ricky Church

Deadline brings words that New Line Cinema has scooped up a pitch in a seven-figure deal from Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg for the superhero comedy film Super High.

Samberg will star in the film alongside Craig Robinson (The Office) and Common (John Wick: Chapter 2). Though light on details, Super High is “a superhero comedy where smoking special weed gives you super powers.”

The script for Super High will be written by Adam Mansbach based on a story by Mansbach and Shamier Anderson, the latter of whom will also executive produce.

Super High will be produced by Party Over Here, 3 Arts and Narrative with Samberg producing as well.
