Star Trek: Zachary Quinto would love to play Spock again

October 1, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Zachary Quinto, who has played Spock in the recent Star Trek movies, says he would definitely like to reprise the role.

The future of the Star Trek movie franchise remains unclear, especially as Noah Hawley is making a new film but without the current movie cast like Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto.

Quinto, who has played Spock, starting in the 2009 J.J. Abrams film Star Trek, would love to come back to the franchise, however. When speaking to The Talk, the actor expressed his desire to play Spock once more:

“Absolutely, we talk about it all the time as the crew of the Enterprise. We’re all incredibly close friends in real life. And I think all of us would welcome the opportunity to go back and keep telling those stories.” While saying he didn’t know what the future holds, he went on to state: “But, we’re all here, if they want to beam us up.”

It does sound like Star Trek is going in a different direction these days but you never know what might happen down the road, especially with multiple timelines and universes in play.
