Get a first look at the Clifford the Big Red Dog live-action movie

November 25, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

Paramount Pictures, Entertainment One and Scholastic Entertainment are set to bring the beloved children’s book series Clifford the Big Red Dog to life next year with the release of a live-action/CG-hybrid animated movie, and a first-look promo has arrived online today giving us a look at the giant canine in the fur; check it out here…

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

Clifford the Big Red Dog features a cast that includes Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, David Alan Grier, Russell Wong and John Cleese.

It is set to arrive in cinemas on November 5th 2021 in the US, and December 2021 in the UK.
