Chilling Adventures of Sabrina crosses over with Sabrina the Teenage Witch in new clip

December 12, 2020 by EJ Moreno

Fans of the Sabrina universe around the world rejoiced when one of the bucket list items were finally checked off. In a new teaser clip for the upcoming fourth (and final) season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, our new Sabrina gets a visit from two very familiar faces as she meets her new aunts, played by Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick.

Yes, the actresses who played Sabrina’s aunts in the 90s sitcom Sabrina, the Teenage Witch are back, and they’ve brought along a laugh track. Could this be some dark spell cast to blend the worlds of Sabrina as we know it? Watch the clip for yourself here…

While there’s no Melissa Joan Hart or Salem the Cat in this clip, we can enjoy seeing the original Hilda and Zelda shine here. The ladies even took a photo with the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina versions of their characters, played by Miranda Otto and Lucy Davis. The four of them took a wonderful photo together on the set of the new season.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Over the course of Part 4’s eight episodes, The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?

The final chapter of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on December 31st, only on Netflix.
