Marvel’s Hawkeye officially adds Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Florence Pugh and more

December 4, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Marvel’s Hawkeye kicked off production in New York this week, with the first set photos confirming the long-rumoured casting of Hailee Steinfeld in the role of young archer Kate Bishop, and now we have word on more of the supporting cast set to feature alongside Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton in the Disney+ series.

According to Variety, Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from the Black Widow movie, confirming the recent rumour, while Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) will portray Kate’s mother Eleanor Bishop. Also starring in the series will be Fra Fee (Les Miserables) as Kazi, believed to be the mercenary villain Kazimierz Kazimierczak/Clown,  Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) as Jack Duquesne/Swordsman, newcomer Alaqua Cox as the deaf Native American hero Maya Lopez, and Zahn McClarnon (Fargo) as Maya’s father William Lopez.
