Alan Ritchson-directed cyber thriller Dark Web: Cicada 3301 gets a trailer and poster

Ahead of its release this March, Lionsgate has revealed a trailer, poster and images for the upcoming cyber thriller Dark Web: Cicada 3301. Inspired by the online puzzle Cicada 3301, the film marks the directorial debut for Alan Ritchson (Smallville, Titans), who also stars alongside Jack Kesy, Conor Leslie, Ron Funches and Andreas Apergis; check them out here…

When disenfranchised hacker Connor (Jack Kesy), his affable best friend Avi (Ron Funches), and the cunning librarian Gwen (Conor Leslie) discover a mysterious online treasure hunt, they must elude aggressive NSA agents, led by Agent Carver (Alan Ritchson), as the trio race to find the clues and claim their prize.

Dark Web: Cicada 3301 is set for a digital release on March 12th, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release on March 16th.
