DOOM comes to Fall Guys next week

January 8, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Devolver Digital has released a new trailer for their platform battle royale game, Fall Guys, revealing that Doom Slayer and a couple of his chums from Doom will be making an appearance for a limited time from 12th January.

The Doom crossover has been teased by Devolver for the past month but from the 12th fans of Doom will find new costumes available to kit out your bean shaped character.  Players will be able to kit out their character in the iconic Doom Marine outfit or as a couple of his demonic enemies, the fearsome Cyberdemon and the less powerful but equally fearsome Cacodemon.

In the trailer the camera moves through a collection of hazards, although with a tinge of Doom-esque hellishness, until the Doom Marine makes its appearance towards the end standing with one foot upon the crown…. that is until, with typical Fall Guys buffoonery, the character falls backwards into his demon clad opponents and sending all three out of the game.  Hopefully the Doom like environment will also make its appearance at some point.

All three of these costumes will be available to buy from 12th January for a limited time only, although there is currently no mention of how long this limited time is.

It would be great to see your screenshots of your character in full Doom Marine garb so please share them on our Twitter.
