First trailer for Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead

While Zack Snyder’s Justice League is grabbing a tonne of headlines at the moment ahead of its HBO Max release next month, The Snyder Cut isn’t the only project that the filmmaker has incoming as Netflix is also set to unveil Army of the Dead in May, and we’ve now got our very first look at the film.

Marking Snyder’s return to the zombie genre for the first time since his diretcorial debut, 2004’s Dawn of the Dead remake, the film sees Dave Bautista leading a group of mercenaries into a zombie-invested Las Vegas in order to pull off an audacious heist; check out the trailer here…

“Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

 Army of the Dead sees Zack Snyder directing a cast that includes Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Garret Dillahunt, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone, and Michael Cassidy. It is set for release on Netflix on May 21st 2021.
