Mare of Easttown adds eleven to ensemble cast

As HBO nears the premiere of its limited mystery series Mare of Easttown, Deadline reports the show has added eleven actors and actresses to its large ensemble cast.

Joining Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown are Mackenzie Lansing (The Deuce), Kate Arrington (Billions), Ruby Cruz (Castle Rock), Eisa Davis (Betty), Enid Graham (The Glorias), Justin Hurtt-Dunkley (High Flying Bird), Jack Mulhern (The Society), Anthony Norman (Broadway’s The Prom), Drew Scheid (Halloween) and Madeleine Weinstein (Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and Izzy King in his debut role.

Mare Of Easttown stars Winslet as Mare Sheehan, “a small-town Pennsylvania detective whose life crumbles around her as she investigates a local murder.”

Arrington plays Faye, “Frank’s new soon-to-be wife.”

Cruz is Jess Riley, “Erin McMenamin’s best friend.”

Davis portrays Gayle Graham, “Mare’s grief therapist.”

Graham plays Dawn Bailey, “a member of the same high school basketball team as Mare.”

Hurtt-Dunkley portrays “Officer Trammel, a new officer on the Easttown police force.”

King is Drew, “Mare’s grandson.”

Lansing plays Brianna Delrasso, “Dylan Hinchey’s new girlfriend.”

Mulhern portrays Dylan Hinchey, “Erin McMenamin’s old boyfriend.”

Norman plays Nathan Forde, “a member of Siobhan’s band.”

Scheid is Geoff Gabeheart, “the drummer in Siobhan’s band.”

Weinstein is Becca, “Siobhan’s bandmate and girlfriend.”

The series is written, executive produced and showrun by Brad Inglesby with Craig Zobel (The Hunt) directing all seven episodes.

Starring alongside Winslet is Guy Pearce (Iron Man 3) as Richard Ryan, a visiting creative writing professor who wrote a dazzling novel that won the National Book Award 25 years ago, but he has never lived up to his early promise, along with Julianne Nicholson (The Outsider) as Mare’s best friend Lori Ross, Jean Smart (Watchmen) as Mare’s mother Helen, Angourie Rice (Spider-Man: Far From Home) as Mare’s teenaged daughter Siobhan, Evan Peters (American Horror Story) as the county Detective Colin Zabel called in to assist with the investigation, Cailee Spaeny (Devs) as isolated teen Erin McMenamin, David Denman (Outcast) as Mare’s ex-husband Frank, John Douglas Thompson (Let Them All Talk) as Mare’s boss Chief Carter, Patrick Murney (Seven Seconds) as Erin’s father Kenny, James McArdle (Ammonite) as Deacon Mark Burton, Sosie Bacon (Here and Now) as Carrie Layden, Joe Tippett (rise) as Lori’s husband John and Neal Huff (The Wire) as Mare’s cousin Father Dan Hastings.

Mare of Easttown will premiere April 18th.
