John Stamos stars in first trailer for Disney+ series Big Shot

March 25, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Disney has released the first poster and trailer for Big Shot, the upcoming sports drama series from David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) which stars John Stamos as Marvyn Korn, a basketball coach who is given a chance at redemption coaching a team at an elite private school after he was ousted from the NCAA; take a look here…

After getting ousted from the NCAA, a men’s basketball coach is given a chance for redemption with a coaching position at an elite private high school. He soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability — foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Korn (John Stamos). By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.

Big Shot also stars Jessalyn Gilsig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler.

The series premieres on Disney+ on April 16th.
