Supergirl’s final season premiere date revealed, Superman & Lois to go on hiatus

March 9, 2021 by Gary Collinson

The CW has announced that the sixth and final season of Supergirl is set to premiere on March 30th, taking up the same timeslot currently occupied by the Arrowverse’s latest series Superman & Lois as the latter goes on a “midseason” break.

Superman & Lois will go on hiatus after airing its fifth episode on March 23rd, with Supergirl then occupying the same Tuesday timeslot through to May 11th before Superman & Lois resumes its first season on May 18th. Assuming no further delays/production shutdowns, Melissa Benoist’s Kara Danvers will then presumably return for her final run of episodes following the Superman & Lois season finale.
