Bruce Willis and John Travolta reunite for Paradise City

May 16, 2021 by Gary Collinson

More than a quarter of a century after appearing on screen together in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, Bruce Willis and John Travolta are set to reunite for Paradise City, a new action thriller from director Chuck Russell (The Mask, Eraser).

As per Deadline, the film is described as “Miami Vice but with bounty hunters instead of cops” and will see Willis playing Ryan Swan, a renegade bounty hunter who carves his way through the Hawaiian crime world seeking vengeance on the kingpin (Travolta) responsible for murdering his father.

While Paradise City will mark the second time that Willis and Travolta have shared the screen, the duo both previously worked on the hit comedies Look Who’s Talking and Look Who’s Talking Too, with Willis lending his voice to Travolta’s baby son Mikey.

Filming on Paradise City is set to get underway on Monday in Maui, Hawaii, with Willis and Travolta joined in the cast by Thai model and actress Praya Lundberg (Realms).
