Marvel wins big at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards

MTV put a pop culture spin on awards season this past weekend with the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, with Marvel Studios and Disney+ dominating proceedings with six awards: four for WandaVision (Best Show, Best Performance in a Show – Elizabeth Olsen, Best Villain – Kathryn Hahn, and Best Fight) and two for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Best Hero – Anthony Mackie, and Best Duo – Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan).

On the film front, Netflix’s To All the Boys: Always and Forever was named Best Movie, while Chadwick Boseman was the posthumous recipient of Best Performance in a Movie for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Leslie Jones received the award for Best Comedic Performance for Coming 2 America.
