Netflix releases trailer for new Kevin Hart film Fatherhood

May 10, 2021 by EJ Moreno

Known for his roles in comedies, Kevin Hart is looking to take things down a more dramatic route. His latest film Fatherhood looks to maintain his charm still but adds a whole new layer to his everyday work.

Inspired by a true story, Fatherhood sees a “widowed new dad copes with doubts, fears, heartache and dirty diapers as he sets out to raise his daughter on his own.” Hart stars alongside an all-star cast, including Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, DeWanda Wise, Anthony Carrigan, and Paul Reiser.

The film comes from director Paul Weitz and is based on the uplifting memoir Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love by Matthew Logelin. Check out the trailer here…

This Father’s Day weekend, Kevin Hart stars in a heartwarming, funny, and emotional true story about a widower taking on one of the toughest jobs in the world: fatherhood. Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, DeWanda Wise, Anthony Carrigan, and Paul Reiser round out this all-star cast.

Watch Fatherhood only on Netflix from June 18th.
