Eiza Gonzalez heads into Wolf Country

June 14, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Baby Driver star Eiza Gonzalez has been cast as the lead in Wolf Country, a “muscular thriller” which is being directed by Jennifer Fox (The Tale) from a script by Peter Begler (Chance).

The film, said to be in the vein of 2016’s Hell of High Water, will see Gonzalez portraying “a young deputy shunned by her entire community after she uncovers a large drug haul that implicates the town’s beloved sheriff, who also happens to be her father. When he escapes custody and flees into the rugged Colorado wilderness, his daughter must face the very man who taught her everything about right and wrong to bring him to justice.”

Gonzalez recently signed on to star in Michael Bay’s upcoming thriller Ambulance, while her recent credits include Bloodshot, Alita: Battle Angel, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, I Care a Lot, Godzilla vs. Kong and the newly-released animated film Spirit Untamed.
