Sacred Fire gets a new trailer ahead of Steam Next Fest 2021

June 9, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Iceberg Interactive and developer Poetic Studio will be taking part in Steam Next Fest 2021 on the 16th June by launching the first public demo for their psychological RPG Sacred Fire.  Accompanying this announcement is a new trailer (see below) featuring the vocal talents of Doug Cockle, otherwise known as Geralt from the Witcher franchise.

The upcoming Sacred Fire demo will feature the first chapter of the story and will play differently depending on whether you select a male or female protagonist.  This demo will feature the voice talents of Doug Cockle, Michelle Gonzo and Ben Britton as important story NPCs.

Sacred Fire takes players back to the time of the Roman occupation of ancient Briton and puts players in the role of a refugee hunted by Rome.  Players will need to build up their character’s willpower to control the choices they make during the story and think carefully about the tactics they will utilise during battles.

Alongside the launch of the playable demo, Poetic Studio has revealed that the game will release on Steam Early Access this autumn and feature the first of three acts.  The remaining two acts will release as free major updates as time goes on, although the developers aim to get the community involved in the development of these.

The Sacred Fire playable demo will be available from the 16th June when Steam Next Fest begins.
