The Medium coming to Playstation 5 this September

June 17, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Playstation 5 owners will be able to immerse themselves in a disturbing and oppressive psychological horror as Bloober Team announces they will be releasing The Medium on 3rd September.  It’s also been revealed that a retail edition will also be released this September for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC along with a special edition.  A PS5 reveal trailer can be seen below…

In this atmospheric psychological horror, players take the role of psychic medium Marianne who sets out on a personal mission to discover the cause of the strange and mysterious visions that hound her. Marianne is gifted with several psychic abilities and can see and interact with items and spirits across both the real and the spirit world, the latter being a realm where nothing is as it seems, giving players access to two visually distinct worlds at the same time.  Uncover a dark mystery shrouded by sinister spirits, devious puzzles and secrets that only a medium can solve.

The Medium arrives on Playstation 5 on 3rd September alongside a physical retail edition for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.  There will also be The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition released which will come complete with the base game, an exclusive Steelbook, the game’s soundtrack and a 32 pages hardcover artbook.
