Kaley Cuoco set for action thriller Role Play

July 9, 2021 by Gary Collinson

The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant star Kaley Cuoco has added another big screen role to her upcoming slate, having signed on to produce and star in Role Play, an action thriller from StudioCanal and The Picture Company.

Scripted by Seth Owen (Morgan), Role Play is described as having a “franchise-able hook”, and revolves around “a young married couple whose life turns upside down after secrets are revealed about about each other’s past.”

Role Play will be produced by Cuoco through her Yes Norman Productions banner alongside Alex Heineman and Andrew Rona of The Picture Company. The search is now underway for a director ahead of a 2022 production start once the actress finishes her commitments to the second season of The Flight Attendant.

Cuoco will next be seen alongside Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson in Sony’s The Man From Toronto, set for release in January 2022, while she also recently set up a limited series biopic of the iconic Doris Day.
