Saban Films has released a poster, trailer and clips for the sci-fi thriller The Colony. Directed by Tim Fehlbaum, the film stars Nora Arnezeder as an astronaut and the sole survivor of an expedition to the long-decimated Earth, who finds herself fighting for her life against a band of violent scavengers while the survival of mankind depends on her; take a look here…
Cataclysmic conditions on Earth forced a mass exodus to a distant planet. Generations later, a manned mission hurtles back to assess living conditions on the desolate, mostly submerged world. The sole survivor of the expedition is attacked by a violent band of scavengers, themselves locked in battle with a far more sinister foe. Now, mankind’s very survival depends on the bravery and ingenuity of the lone astronaut.
The Colony also stars Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Iain Glen, Sebastian Roché, and Joel Basman.
The Colony arrives in cinemas and on digital on August 27th.
