In just a couple of months Amazon will premiere their highly anticipated adaptation of The Wheel of Time, the epic fantasy series from author Robert Jordan. We now have some first look images of the series revealed by EW which shows off Rosamund Pike as Moiraine along with many of the other characters and locations. Check them out below…
Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine, a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.
The Wheel of Time premieres on Amazon Prime Video this November and features a cast that includes Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Alvaro Morte, Sophie Okonedo, Kae Alexander, Madeleine Madden, Zoe Robins, Michael McElhatton, Barney Harris, and Marcus Rutherford.
