Live a life of crime with City of Gangsters, out now on Steam

August 10, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Kasedo Games and SomaSim have today announced the release of the highly anticipated City of Gangsters on Steam.  This new mafia management sim’ allows players to leap into a life of crime and ensure the population continues to enjoy alcohol during America’s prohibition years.  A new launch trailer can be seen below….

In the USA in the 1920s the government made the production and sale of alcohol illegal.  This was the time of Prohibition and saw bars, saloons, breweries and distilleries closed down literally overnight.  The country going dry wouldn’t last for long though as smugglers, black markets and organised crime gangs took over the manufacturer and supply via speakeasies.

In City of Gangsters manage production chains and distribution, arrange smugglers to move booze across city lines and bribe police to look the other way.  Though this only half the job, there’s competition out there looking to take advantage of the situation and they need eliminating.  Wipe out the competition and keep the booze and money flowing in Chicago, Pittsburgh and Detroit.

Behind the city’s facades there’s people creating makeshift distilleries, secret loading bays and speakeasies waiting for players to take control of.

City of Gangsters is available now on Steam priced £26.29/ $29.99 / €29.99.  A Deluxe Edition is also available and includes the base game and the Bourbon Bootlegging DLC, which includes the city of Cincinnati, new skills, missions and business type.
