Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub! Rick and Morty Season 5 finale will be an hour long, but you’ll have to wait for it….

August 10, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub! It’s a good news/bad news scenario for fans of Rick and Morty, with the announcement that the season 5 finale will be the first hour long episode in the show’s history, but unfortunately you’ll have to wait a little while for it.

The fifth season of Rick and Morty, which has hit some all-time creative highs, as well as a few obscure lows, aired its penultimate episode on Monday, and now Collider is reporting that the final two episodes will make up an hour-long special. The only glitch in this time continuum is that audiences will have to wait until September 5th to see it.

Adult Swim did release a teaser to sate the fans, which you can check out below…

The Rick and Morty Season 5 finale hits Adult Swim on September 5th.
