Jennifer Lawrence set for R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings

October 16, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

Jennifer Lawrence is set to increase her workload following some post-Dark Phoenix downtime with the news that she has added Sony Pictures R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings to her list of upcoming projects.

According to Deadline, the Academy Award winning actor will star in the film for Good Boys director Gene Stupnitsky. The Office alum has co-written No Hard Feelings alongside John Phillips, with the film pitched as an R-rated comedy in the vein of Risky Business and Cameron Diaz vehicle Bad Teacher, on which Stupnitsky worked as executive producer and writer.

Sony Pictures won the bidding war for an unspecified amount, going up against some of the big-hitting streaming giants, but reportedly secured No Hard Feelings with the intention of giving the film an exclusive theatrical release.

Lawrence can be seen next in Adam McKay’s end-of-the-world drama Don’t Look Up over at Netflix, before once again teaming up with him for the Elizabeth Holmes biopic Bad Blood.
