Neon picks up rights to Sundance hit Pleasure

Following on from its acclaimed screening at Sundance earlier this year, Neon has picked up the U.S. distribution rights to Pleasure, the debut film from director Ninja Thyberg.

Pleasure takes place amid the Los Angeles porn industry and followers Bella Cherry (Sofia Kappel), a strong, self-confident but naive newcomer who believes she can mold the corrupt system to satisfy her needs but ultimately has to confront whether she’ll pay with her soul for stardom or not.

Featuring in the cast of Pleasure alongside Sofia Kappel are Revika Anne Reustle, Evelyn Claire, Chris Cock, Dana DeArmond, and Kendra Spade. The film will be released Stateside by Neon in 2022.
