Donald Glover teases Atlanta season 3 with a Shining-style trailer

With season 4 of the creatively unrivalled Atlanta already confirmed, Donald Glover can go as abstract as he likes with the forthcoming third season, and judging by this teaser for the Emmy Award-winning show, that’s exactly what they’ve done; check it out in all of its The Shining invoking glory below…

Glover, who writes, directs, and executive produces Atlanta, tweeted the trailer in typically creative fashion, with a post that can only be accessed at certain times of the day.

Atlanta sees Donald Glover starring alongside Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Standfield and Zazie Beetz and follows two cousins looking to make their mark in the Atlanta rap scene. Critically acclaimed, with a 97% Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, the series has won two Golden Globes and five Emmys, and will return sometime in 2022.
