South Park riffs on Stephen King’s IT in first trailer for exclusive event episode

November 19, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

As part of their whopping $900M deal with with ViacomCBS Inc., South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be making a series of what this brand new teaser calls “exclusive event” episodes, the first of which riffs on Stephen King’s IT, featuring the grown up versions of some of our favourite Colorado residents, and asks what happened to the children who lived through the Pandemic? Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny survived but will never be the same Post Covid; check out the trailer below…

South Park has already tackled the pandemic once during an hour-long episode that aired last September. ‘The Pandemic Special’ dealt with how Randy came to terms with his role in the COVID-19 outbreak, and how the citizens of the titular Colorado town faced with the challenges presented to them as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

South Park: Post Covid, the ‘Exclusive Event’ lands on November 25th only on Paramount+.
