Dave Bautista to star in M. Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin

December 7, 2021 by Liam Waddington

After working with big-name directors like Denis Villeneuve and Rian Johnson, Deadline is reporting that Dave Bautista has found his next A-list director to work with as the actor is in negotiations to star in M. Night Shyamalan’s new secret project Knock at the Cabin.

Shyamalan will write, direct and also produce Knock at the Cabin with Ashwin Rajan under the filmmaker’s Blinding Edge Pictures banner alongside Marc Bienstock and Steven Schneider. Universal has currently slated the film to debut in theatres on February 3rd, 2023.

Bautista’s acting career has continued to skyrocket over the past several years with the former wrestler recently finding success in both Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and Netflix’s Army of the Dead. He recently wrapped production on Rian Johnson’s Knives Out 2 and is currently shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
