Dewey tells Sydney “It’s happening again” in new Scream clip

With little over a week to go before Ol’ Ghostface Killer returns to the big-screen in Ready or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s Scream sequel, the cast-and-crew are busy on the promotional trail, reminiscing about the decades old franchise and what it means to return to play these iconic characters.

Two of Wes Craven’s OGs, David Arquette and Neve Campbell, appeared on Good Morning America to debut a short clip featuring their Woodsboro alter-egos reconnecting following the reappearance of an old foe; check it out below…

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

The cast of Scream includes the returning Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers and Marley Shelton as Deputy Judy Hicks alongside franchise newcomers Jenna Ortega (You, Jane the Virgin), Melissa Barrera (In the Heights), Jack Quaid (The Boys), Dylan Minnette (13 Reasons Why), Mason Gooding (Love, Victor), Mikey Madison (Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood), Kyle Gallner (Ghosts of War), Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers), and newcomer Sonia Ammar.

Scream is set for release on January 14th 2022.
