Ti West puts Mia Goth, Brittany Snow and Scott Mescudi through the wringer in the terrifying trailer for A24 horror X

January 12, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

As Martin Henderson’s adult filmmaker says to one of his young cast members – “people’s eyes are gonna pop out of their damn skulls when they see this” – and judging by the look of this first trailer the same might apply to Ti West’s return to big-screen horror with X.

Borrowing heavily from Texas Chainsaw iconography, The House of the Devil director sends a group of campervan dwelling victims – that include Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness), Jenna Ortega (Scream), Martin Henderson (The Ring), Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), and Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up) – to a house in the middle of Southern America, where their amoral activities set in motion a chain of events which will have them fighting for their lives; check out the terrifying trailer below….

“In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast soon find themselves in a desperate fight for their lives.”

X lands in theatres on March 18th, 2022.
