Netflix’s Transformers: BotBots animated comedy series rolls out its trailer

March 17, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Having delivered the nostalgia-fuelled, fan-favourite Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy, Netflix is taking the Transformers franchise in a new direction this month with the premiere of Transformers: BotBots.

The first ever Transformers comedy series, BotBots follows a group of robots in disguise as everyday objects, who hide away on store shelves in the mall before rolling out for adventures when the shutters come down at night. Watch the trailer here…

BotBots are Transformer robots that disguise themselves as everyday mall objects. By day, these BotBots hide quietly on store shelves. But, at night, they jump into adventure until a group of BotBots called ‘The Lost Bots’ run into the mall security guard and put all the bots in danger. Will these misfits be able to overcome their differences, defeat the security guard and gain acceptance in the eyes of the other bots?

Transformers: BotBots arrives on Netflix on March 25th.
