Zombie Army 4: Dead War to feature enhancements for the Nintendo Switch

March 4, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Rebellion has announced that the upcoming Nintendo Switch release of Zombie Army 4: Dead War on the 26th April will include a number of features that take full advantage of the console’s capabilities, such as Steam Cross Saves.  The developer has also released a brand-new trailer, which you can see below.

The features of Zombie Army 4: Dead War that take advantage of the console’s capabilities will include enhanced controls that allow players to use the gyroscope to fine tune their aim, Steam Cross Saves allowing players to take their save from Steam onto the Switch so they can continue the struggle for survival while on the move and will dynamically change resolution to ensure a smooth 30fps experience, running at 1080p when docked and 720p when undocked.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War on the Nintendo Switch will feature all the intense action, over the top gore and insane carnage that they have come to love from the series.  The game will enable two to four players to be able to play in both local wireless and online modes.

The Nintendo Switch version will also include all the additional content that came with the Season Pass One plus every post-release Horde Map on the game card.  This means that gamers will get three additional levels, four character packs, nine weapon bundles, five weapon skin packs and four character outfit bundles. (It’s also worth noting that this Season Pass is now free on other platforms).  Season Passes Two and Three will be available to purchase at launch and will bring lots more content.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War arrives on Nintendo Switch on the 26th April and is available to pre-order now.
