Rose Byrne returns in Physical season 2 first look images

April 8, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Apple TV+ has announced that its acclaimed dark comedy series Physical will be returning to the streaming service for its second season this June.

Starring and executive produced by Rose Byrne and created by Annie Weisman, season two of the series finds Sheila Rubin (Byrne) “having successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path. She is torn between loyalty to her husband (Rory Scovel) and the values he represents, and a dangerous attraction to someone else. And since she’s no longer the only game in town, she finds herself having to outrun some fierce new competitors on the road to building a full-fledged fitness empire.”

Along with Byrne and Scovel, Physical features a cast that includes Dierdre Friel, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Pucci and Paul Sparks, while Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) joins the cast as Vincent ‘Vinnie’ Green, a charismatic fitness instructor, weight-loss guru, and pioneer of the late-night infomercial. Check out a couple of first look images here featuring Byrne and Bartlett…

Physical season 2 will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 3rd 2022, while the first season is available to stream now.
